The recent Health and Human Services mandate and the ensuing debate appear to have pitted religious-liberty claims against women’s health. But because religious leaders (rightly) focused on the need for a religious exemption, it may appear to some observers that they are unable to articulate a reasoned and weighty response to the administration’s claim that contraceptives are essential to women’s health and well-being.

I've heard the Catholic Church called many things but never "pro-woman." The authors of this article evidenty went on a binge with the communal wine. The CC has labled women as inferior since its inception and continues to try and do so with its stance against contraception. Considering the shape of the economy in many places around the world, it would be irresponsible to have kids that you cannot take care of and the CC knows this but chooses not to say it-how else will they replenish their supply of brainwashed individuals?

The "pill" has many side effects and requires physician monitoring, at least during initial use. Pregnancy has many more side effects and results in the death of the mother, and, thus, the fetus much more frequently.

That is why it must be the mother's right to choose, always.

Unnatural contraception would obviously lead to unnatural end results, so return to natural ways , so as to regain the balance that nature worked so hard to establish.
